Fashion For The Philippines Turns Runway Into Hurricane Relief
Fashion For The Philippines Turns Runway Show Tickets & Modeling Classes Into Hurricane Relief
Ever want to grab lunch with Simon Doonan? Chat over coffee with Nina Garcia? Score modeling tips from Coco Rocha herself? Now's your chance, thanks to Fashion For The Philippines.
The charity, a joint effort of Fashion Girls for Humanity and the CFDA, aims to provide relief for sufferers of Typhoon Haiyan through a style-specific auction at Charity Buzz. That aforementioned lunch is valued at $5,000, while the coffee date with Garcia and the modeling class with Rocha are expected to earn $3,000 and $7,500, respectively. All of the funds raised will go to Waves For Water, who will provide direct aid to the Philippines.
Also up for auction are runway tickets to Emilio Pucci's show at Milan Fashion Week,Monique Lhuillier's show at New York Fashion Week and a meet-and-greet with Christian Siriano after taking in his runway collection. You can even score a two-week internship at Thakoon.
It's certainly nice to see the fashion world continuing to do its part in the wake of a natural disaster. You can bid on any of these prizes and more at Charity Buzz's siteuntil Jan. 14, 2014.
